On the occasion of World Indigenous Peoples Day 2022, this literary award, established by the Pyara Kerketta Foundation, Ranchi, is given to three Adivasi, tribal or indigenous manuscripts from the country. It is named after three great indigenous leaders from Jharkhand (India) – Jaipal Singh Munda, Julius Tigga, and Hanna Bodra – who led the political and cultural struggle for indigenous self-determination and self-governance in the 1940s to 1960s. This brochure was published on the occasion of the JJHannah Literary Award 2025 ceremony.
